Quick FAQ

Q: Where did this item come from? A: I collect Warhammer items and ZX Spectrum games. I usually buy job lots of stuff which can have unexpected items in them. This is something that I have a duplicate of already or no longer want to keep. Q: Is the item complete? A: To the best of my knowledge all items are complete unless stated otherwise. I will try to check precisely for something if you ask but if I have nothing to reference them against then I probably can't tell that the item was meant to come with piece "X". You buy the item based on the picture alone and I will not accept returns on the basis of it being incomplete. These are second hand items. For the most part you should expect some wear and tear and even some pieces missing. Q: Does the tape / disc / cd / cartridge work? A: I have no idea. I've never owned the computer systems that these items were intended for and I have no way of testing them. This means that I do not guarantee that the game will load and I will not accept any returns on that basis. That said, these items come with their original covers and inserts and they might be worth buying just to get the box, inlay or manual. You will have to be the judge of that. Some of these items are getting on for 30 years old now! Q: Is the auction picture actually of the item? A: Yes, the picture uploaded is *always* of the article actually for sale. Q: Do you combine shipping? A: ***Absolutely***. Ask me for a combined shipping invoice when the auctions that you are bidding on finish. Q: Can I collect the item in person? A: You are *always* welcome to collect the item in person. Q: What packaging do you use? A: I use padded envelopes or boxes, new ones only when I have to, recycling where I can and reinforcing where needed. I do not wrap items in paper, newspaper or black bin bags (as other eBay sellers have done to me - still got here though!). A return address is always on the parcel and *your* address will be cut-and-pasted from the eBay email - so make certain that it is correct. Q: Do you accept returns? A: Only in the event of a mistake on my part where the goods were not as described. This does not include the condition of the item; you must gauge that from the picture that I upload for each auction. Q: Do you keep proof of postage? A: Yes, and I will send the item signed for if requested at your cost. Q: Do you charge exact shipping? A: I charge as close as possible to the exact postage but I do add a small ammount on for materials and time spent wrapping and driving to the Post Office. Q: Can you use alternative delivery services? A: No. I only use Royal Mail. I live in the countryside and any alternatives are too far away for me to consider *driving* to just to send your package. If you don't like this, don't bid. Q: Do you ship outside the UK? A: Yes, but I reserve the right to refuse to ship to your country as some places are notorious for losing items. Always ask first to get a shipping quote. Airmail is recommended; surface is appallingly slow. Note: at the moment I will only ship to Italy if the buyer choses the more expensive signed-for option.
