GILLETTE ROCKET FLARE SAFETY RAZOR 1960's
This is the English version of the American Gillette Super Speed. The English versions are as having superior nickel plating and take a wonderful polish.
Usually Gillette Rockets have pointed end plates. This particular razor has square type end plates that I believe means it is a later model, late 50's or early 60's. The razor is marked "Made in England"
with the Gillette logo and a single "S".
Cleaned and polished this razor is very shiny and appears to have been used very rarely. The plating is in perfect condition and the doors open smoothly and close tight.
A beautiful razor that can be used or will compliment any collection.
