1979 GIBSON USA "E2" EXPLORER HARDSHELL CASE. This case went with my 1979 Gibson "E2" Explorer but I prefer "gig bags" instead so I'm selling it. The previous owner took off both right and left front case latches. I have included 2 "BRAND NEW" TKL case latches with rivets to replace them. The "middle" case latch works perfectly so you can close the case with no problems. There is some "light surface corrosion" on the outer metal "trim" parts of the outer case. There is some "ware" on the case scrapes, dings, and stuff like that but nothing major. Overall for being 31 years old and vintage the case is in "GOOD CONDITION" and will serve your Explorer well for many years to come! Please e-mail me if you have any questions. Thanks!
